Work is well underway on the trust's long-awaited Roman Corner, Dorchester development of 15 x one bedroom flats.

The start on site ‘breaking ground’ event held on 13th March, hosted by the developers AJC Construction, was well attended by representatives of the Trust and partners including East Boro Housing Trust, Dorset Council and Dorchester Town Council.

Following site clearance, ground works including piling and pouring of concrete for the foundations have been carried out over the past few weeks.

These flats will be let at social rent to people aged up to age 35 who are employed in Dorchester, with a single income of up to £30,000 or a combined income of up to £60,000. Anyone interested in renting one of the flats should register for housing with Dorset Council by following this link: Register for housing - Dorset Council
